CoCo is a 15+ year-old Umbrella Cockatoo here at Miss Vicki's Parrot Village in Fayetteville, GA. CoCo is not up for adoption because of a medical issue, but he is still very much able to play like other birds.

Caesar is a Triton Cockatoo that was brought to Miss Vicki's Parrot Village near Atlanta, GA for constant screaming. This is not uncommon for cockatoos, especially the sulfur crested, but Caesar was especially vocal for extended periods of time and for unknown reasons. This is the second of three videos.
This bout of screaming is combined with display as he sees me sit down and cuddle with another bird. Like humans, parrots can feel envy, jealousy, and have fears of abandonment. He does not like the idea of me sitting with another bird, but through Parrot Empowerment, he will learn that this is normal and OK. It does not mean he is in danger in any way.
Please consider these videos before buying a baby parrot. Caesar was not born this way; he was made this way in captivity. It will take months of hard work for him to learn to trust the humans in his life, and it may not last into his new home.
